The Stepping Stone has been a great resource for my autistic, adult child, Philip. He attends three days a week and practically leaps out of the car when we arrive at the parking lot. The program is varied and driven by the interests of the clients.

The Stepping Stone provides my son with a caring, fun, safe and stimulating environment with the other young adults. The staff are friendly, competent and conscientious.

I am especially pleased with the regular sign language classes that occur. This increases my son’s communication skills as well as providing an opportunity for the other clients to also communicate with Philip and each other. There are outings, gardening, cooking and baking opportunities, crafts and a regular theme each week.

I am fortunate that a program like ‘The Stepping Stone’ exists and I would highly recommend that you entrust your special needs child to the care of Sue and Wendy.
